What an amazing day! Not only did we inaugurate our new Governor Ezweb by getting him his Thunderfury- we also killed the Twin Emperors in AQ40 after only 3 days of attempts! Awesome work BAV!!!

Well, actually, some random discussion topic made want to test out modifying BB codes to let us do neat things. Of course, I need something to do with a new BB code, so I pondered for a moment, then came up with this example modification:

Now you can embed YouTube movies directly into pretty much everything on this site (except the wiki). Anyway, the whole point of this post is not so much to show off cool web tricks we can do, but to let everyone know that this site is now undergoing continual enhancement, and we would love to have your input. Have any neat ideas or things you would like to see implemented? Let us know! We are certainly on the look out for new and better ways to do the things we do.

There have been some changes to the site, some minor, some major. Look around and check things out.
Cool Things to Check Out The BA Wiki
All of 'The Path' content has moved to our brand new BA Wiki. Almost all of the content is editable by you, and each Province has their own Province page. Some pages are a bit bare, but with your help, that will change soon.
BA Event Calendar
All Provinces can now schedule their events on the new Events Calendar. Right now we have very basic functionality, but Voltaire is working hard to bring improvements like Province Specific Calendars and more.
Good, but not Perfect
We've spent the last month or so making sure that the transition would go smoothly and adding new features to the site, but we're not perfect. Drop by the threads in the BA Members forums to praise or complain about the new site.
Note: It has also come to our attention if you are a visitor and attempting to register for the site that the required Email might not be sending, and there is no way to alert us of this because.. well.. you're not registered. We're troubleshooting this ASAP and should have resolution soon. (posted 8/29)
We will be moving to our new webhosting on Friday, August 25th.
The website will be down starting Friday evening, as we move the final data over. I hope to have the site back up by Saturday, or Sunday at latest. It will take a while for the DNS to Propogate. The Kelthuzad subdomain should remain online during the transition.

Custom uploaded Forum Avatars will not transfer to the new site. If you uploaded your avatar to the site, make sure you have a backup. Similarly, Signatures hosted in the Gallery will probably not transition. All Gallery Image links will break. All other site data should be transfered completely.
After recent events (and a lack of interest), we've made the decision to disband our Khaz Modan province in World of Warcraft, effective immediately.
Leaders from that province were given the opportunity to take knowledge from the forums in an effort to extend an "olive branch". We wish those departing us well in their future endeavors -- they will remain members of Bellum Aeternus for as long as they choose!
At the end of August, Bellum Aeternus will be moving to a new Webhost. Our new host will give us better speed and some increased functionality not avalible at our current accommodations.
The march thru the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj continues! Last night we took down Princess Huhuran, one of the harder bosses in this instance. Several guilds burn weeks on her, and we took her down in one. Much love to everyone who farmed Nature Resist gear to make this possible. Next stop, the Twin Emperors!
