My Bellum Aeternus job(s)
Everquest II Governor (retired)
I am a resident forum junkie (I don't sleep much)
I began playing console games. I own almost all of the Final Fantasy series. I actually, at one time, had 4 gaming consoles at one time Sega (yes the first one), Playstation, Playstation II, and Nintendo. I then discovered PC gaming in the form of Doom and Duke Nukem. Then about 3 or 4 years ago Final Fantasy came out with FFXI and well I had to get it and I have been hooked on online gaming ever since.
While playing FFXI, I had the good fortune to meet a wonderful group of individuals that had been playing online games together for years (you know them as Flipity, Flopp, Chugalot, Chandra, Vorcan, and Shaylo). When they moved to EQ2, I moved with them. We started a guild here on Guk and with pretty much just the seven of us made it to guild level 25 within the first year. Pretty imressive for a small group. When Shaylo decided to quit, we decided to look for a larger guild so we could try our hand at raiding. During the search I ran accross forum posts of Saint Peters and decided Bellum Aeternus was the guild we were looking for. After hearing Pete sing......I decided this was home.
A few months after I joined BA, our guild went through a bit of turmoil and we lost quite a few folks. I think that because of my vocal tenacity (I can be a talker) in not letting people give up during this time I was offered a role as Centurion. I took that job and have never looked back, nor can I think of a better group of individuals to spend my free time with. Even after taking on Governorship with Chazy around the time Pete decided to leave EQII, with the bumps that we have had, I could not think of anywhere I would rather be then with these people in this online community. I have had the opportunity to meet some incredible individuals and have learned and am learning sooo much.
We have more to accomplish, we have more hurdles to overcome and we have more friends to make. No place better to do it then with you guys :)
What do I play?
Age of Conan
Guild Wars with my husband and daughter.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
Here is a family photo taken on our wedding day a few years back, when we FINALLY decided to make it official :)
