The IP version does not appear to be working anymore. So just stick with:

I had received the notification mail on Monday, but didn't check the inbox until after all the crying was done. I should have given everyone heads up. I've changed the e-mail address our host sends alerts to now, so I ought to get this sort of thing in a more timely fashion in the future.

ya, we had half a dozen people disconnect from vent during our sunday night and couldn't reconnect for half an hour or so, while the rest were fine and never lost connection. seems it was net related.
